These plans include insurance and non-insurance benefits. This is not a Medicare prescription drug plan. These plans provide discounts at certain health care providers for medical services. Some plans also include fixed schedule insurance benefits. These plans do not make payments directly to the providers of medical services. The plan member is obligated to pay for all health care services but will receive a discount from those health care providers who have contracted with the discount medical plan organization, as well as reimbursement from certain plans. The range of discounts for services provided will vary depending on the provider type and services provided. You have the right to cancel this plan at any time, for any reason. If you cancel within 30 days of the effective date, you can receive a full refund of fees paid. If you cancel after 30 days, we will cease to collect fees no later than 30 days after receipt of your cancellation request. Discounts on hospital services are not available in Maryland.
