Atlanta-based Coverdell & Company Inc. has launched Reassurance Health, a suite of health-care discount programs that the company claims will help consumers save up to 60 percent on out-of-pocket health-care costs. Reassurance Health offers seven individual and family programs - with discounts on services such as prescriptions, hospital care and flat-rate reimbursement for doctor visits.Coverdell provides non-insurance health benefit programs to more than 6 million members nationwide. The discount programs are not health insurance, but membership plans that can supplement health-insurance savings, the company said in a statement.
